Gouache, ink, plastic transparency, tape on Drawing Board

This body of work explores the concept of temporal and fleeting confusions as an integral part of art making. Through the use of journalistic devices such as tape, handwritten note and process-driven mark making, Suspended Questioning I and II are made to be taken apart. They demand to be viewed at their temporary state, to be examined by their forever-transitioning identity. The non-permanent feeling that this work generates is a result of the artist’s thinking and healing by working through loneliness as the aftermath of the global pandemic.
